Who better to serve as your Creative Director than the fashion queen herself? That’s right Bad Gal Rihanna was named the new Creative Director of Puma – and what a wise decision that was!
In her new role, Rihanna will be in charge of womenswear fitness and training line. She will also help with the designing and customizing of Puma’s classic models, but it doesn’t just stop there. To top this deal off Rih will be key in creating new designs to keep Puma on its A game.
So who will be the face of Puma, now that Rihanna is the Creative Director? Well Rihanna herself of course! The award-winning fashion icon has also been named the Global Brand Ambassador for Puma, meaning she will serve as the face of their Fall 2015 ad campaign.
It seems so far away, I can’t wait to see what Rihanna contributes to the brand. I mean we are dealing with the trillest of them all, so I can only imagine how bomb the new line and campaign will be.
Puma’s CEO Bjorn Gulden commented on signing Rihanna:
“Signing Rihanna is a fantastic step for Puma. Her global profile, her charisma and individuality, her ambition – all these things make her a perfect ambassador for our brand. With a strong portfolio in football, running and motorsport, finding an inspiring partner for women’s training was very important. Rihanna was a natural choice for us. We’re delighted to have her as a partner, and we’re looking forward to what’s to come.”
Rih has already flown to Puma’s headquarters in Germany to sign the deal and host her first creative session with designers to discuss the direction of the new line.
Congrats to one of our faves here at Worthy! Now that’s a true Bad Gal 😉
